A smile is the best thing you can put on in the morning, but not everyone is confident with theirs. Lift your smile with dental veneers, a unique cosmetic enhancement that will help correct or improve your teeth.

What are dental veneers?

Veneers are tailored porcelain shells made to fit your teeth. They’re used to correct your smile by improving the colour of your teeth or fixing gaps, chips and/or stains on your teeth. Read more about Veneers here; Dental Veneers.

Unlike dental implants, veneers need to be replaced every seven to fifteen years.

What flaws can veneers help with?
Dental veneers can treat discoloured, cracked, chipped or badly shaped teeth. They can also help close gaps between your teeth. The veneer procedure shows instant and visible improvements to your smile.

Advantages of dental veneers

Efficient: The procedure for veneer placement can generally be completed in two visits (one visit if you’re being fitted with porcelain veneers.)

Effective: The results are instantaneous. You’ll leave the chair with a brand-new smile.

Stain resistant: With proper care, your new teeth should be more stain resistant.

Improved tooth shape and gums: If your teeth are small or misaligned veneers are the ideal option. Gum tissue tolerates porcelain veneers very well, so is a good alternative to composite veneers.

What’s the difference between porcelain and composite veneers?

Composite veneers are made from two different materials. Porcelain veneers are made from porcelain only. Generally, composite veneers are less expensive on account of the materials used. Porcelain veneers typically require two visits to be fitted, whereas composite resin veneers can be fitted in the chair in one visit. If damaged or broken, porcelain veneers can’t be fixed, they’ll need to be replaced.

Do veneers ruin your teeth?

If you’re being treated by an experienced, trained and professional dentist, veneers won’t damage your teeth. We’ll need to examine and take x-rays of your teeth to fully assess their health. Only after thoroughly examining your teeth will we be able to tell you if you’re eligible for veneers.
