THE IMPORTANCE OF ROUTINE DENTAL EXAMINATIONS

Booking a routine dental examination every 6 to 12 months is important to assess the overall health of your teeth, gum and jaw and to ensure any problems are discovered, diagnosed and treated early.

During your routine examinations, our dentists will inspect the health of your teeth, gums and mouth as well as perform a scale and clean. These checkups are usually covered by private health insurers.

Occasionally we will need to take X-rays to diagnose potential sub-surface issues such as damage to jawbones, impacted teeth, abscesses, cysts or tumours, and decay between the teeth.

At City Central Dental we offer up-to-date digital x-rays providing high resolution x-rays to aid diagnosis and preventative dentistry.
